The Perfect Lunchtime Read - Where’s your famous ex?

Hi Friends on Facebook and Friends in Life,

Today in history…

1998: United States President Bill Clinton denied any wrongdoing with a White House intern, announcing, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” Looking back, David Letterman named this “The Golden Age of Comedy.” *

Who can forget that priceless moment in history?  It was the biggest lie in the world this day in 1998.

Today former President Bill Clinton is seen around the world proudly supporting his longtime wife Hillary Clinton, United States Secretary of State.

Before finding this video I had to ask myself “Where’s his famous ex (intern) Monica Lewinsky?”  Last I heard she was selling handbags in New York, but according to wiki that’s since ended.  Via. Wiki - By 2005, Lewinsky found that she could not escape the spotlight in the U.S., with both her professional and personal life difficult.  She stopped selling her handbag line and moved to London.  In December 2006, Lewinsky graduated with a master’s degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics where she had been studying since September 2005.  Her thesis was titled “In Search of the Impartial Juror: An Exploration of the Third-person effect and Pre-Trial Publicity”. She has since tried to avoid publicity.

With that in mind my question for you today is, where’s your famous ex?  By famous I mean the one known amongst your friends as the heartbreaker, the one that made you delete their number and then add it back a couple times, the one that you learned the most from, the one that made you cry and drink your sorrows away on a school night, the one that made you take up smoking, the one that’s responsible for that extra 15 pounds you gained while bingeing in depression, the one that made you rip up your favorite pictures and letters with sentences that used to give you butterflies, the one that you bumped into for the first couple months that you were a part because you were so used to going to the same places all the time, the one that has enough info on you that they could write a tell-all book if you became famous, the one who made you replay and belt-out Tina Turners pessimistic love anthem ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ a few too many times on a Friday night – alone, the on that made you weary of ever falling in love again, the one that knew how to make you mad, the one that ultimately fucked up, the one you can’t believe you were once with…for so damn long.

Have you ever wondered where your famous ex is today?  Check and let me know :)

It’s Wednesday, your half way there!
